Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is one of the few modalities in veterinary medicine where results are often immediate, and are often seen within minutes of treatment.

Animal Chiropractic is a field of animal health care that focuses on the preservation and optimal function of the nervous system. Why? Nerves control everything that happens in our animals. They are like a water hose. If we step on the hose, flow of water decreases. As soon as we remove the foot, water flows again. The same is true for nerves. Anything adversely affecting the nervous system decreases nerve flow and input to the tissue it supplies and results in detrimental effects that and even resonate throughout the entire body.

Chiropractic care aligns and balances an animal’s vertebrae, thus affecting proper alignment of the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. I will make adjustments to restore or at least improve motility to your animal’s joints. This will gently tear down adhesions, relax muscles, release trapped tissue, normalize nerve function as well as reduce swelling and stress hormone levels. Recipients of chiropractic care often experience significant pain relief.
EVERY single animal - young and old! Chiro is my first go to for almost everything. That's how powerful this healing modality is. Chiropractic treatments can help treat a number of conditions, including musculoskeletal problems (cruciate ligament tears, arthritis, hip dysplasia), incontinence, neurologic problems, skin issues such as lick granulomas and digestive upset (reflux, constipation) just to name a few. Chiropractic care can also be used to enhance performance, prevent illness and maintain fitness, in addition to supporting the immune system and hormonal balance.
The way I practice chiro is very gentle. I have yet to come across an animal that did like it. They very often experience immediate relief and walk away with renewed vigor and well-being.
